Avery/GM: Welcome to episode 59 of Beyond the Furthest Stars.
(Intro plays, fades down, ambience fades in)
Avery/GM: Zahn, Ollie and Polaris, you all walk into the Red River Farms restaurant. , as you were leaving the TSKAM this morning, Marty was actually, had actually stayed up all night studying some sort of records on her data pad and was actually like asleep at the communications station on the TSKAM. With like, a bunch of datapads kind of scattered around her.
Avery/GM: Like, clearly, like, she just needs to rest because she has worked a little too hard. But has still been very mum about what exactly is going on.
Bee/Polaris: Well, Polaris would have put a blanket on her before they left. But also, he would have looked at them datapads.
Avery/GM: Okay.
Bee/Polaris: Well, I guess to shut them all off.
Avery/GM: Yeah, uh, they're not encrypted. Do you look look? Like
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, well, Polaris will, like, go, like, pick up the first one to, like, look at it and turn it off. But then, like, there's a lot of data pads here. What has gotten Marty so, like She doesn't usually study like this, unless something's up. So Polaris would look look.
Avery/GM: So the first data pad you pick up is data from Like, clearly it's from the Cassiopeia. It's, it looks like it's Ro's medical record that she was studying. And it talks about needing weekly injections of a substance that in the Milky Way galaxy is called Gemdryl, G E M D R Y L.
Bee/Polaris: That certainly sounds like a drug of some sort.
Avery/GM: And it has, like, a molecular compound that, like, looks like Marty, like, made, like, a note on this data pad and, like, wrote down a few, like, different molecular, like, formulas that maybe she thinks could work, but she's unsure because, basically, she doesn't know if they're, you know, she doesn't know what the Milky Way knows about certain chemicals, right?
Avery/GM: Like, y'all have, like, The translation guide for how to like translate this stuff, but it doesn't necessarily mean you know what the stuff does, right? So there's a few notes on that. And then you see that there is another data pad and there is some correspondence on it from, um, Oswald and then from a few other contacts.
Avery/GM: Like it's basically a list of like unopened emails. So you could dig through those if you want.
Bee/Polaris: Nah, Polaris won't snoop through people's emails.
Avery/GM: Okay. And then the third data pad that's there is actually like a to do list.
Bee/Polaris: Okay.
Avery/GM: And it has like a bunch of different, um, medicines and chemicals, like a list of like different drugs and stuff that Marty needs to find to try and treat this.
Bee/Polaris: Okay.
Avery/GM: You do see brainwave, like highlighted in like big letters and then there's a note next to it. Like maybe it's something connected to brainwave. Like basically Marty's suggesting that because the brainwave drug worked to pull, pull Ro out of the torching episode that she had, maybe the medicine that she needs is related to, or could be derived from brainwave. So that's all the information you get.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris will make note of that. He'll make note of that in his visor to talk to Marty about that. Cause he's also experiment boy, and he may be able to help. So he'll make note of that and talk to her about it later.
Avery/GM: Okay. Sounds good.
Bee/Polaris: And also if this is the next morning, I don't think Polaris would have changed. Still. I mean, it's probably just the same costume, different color.
Avery/GM: Yeah. Cause you had to get multiple colors. You can't just get one.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah. He just made himself multiple colors.
Avery/GM: Oh, that's right. That's right. And then, yeah, y'all. Leave the TSKAM and head down to the Red River Farms, uh, shop and you walk in and there's Bruce sitting there, cup of tea, enjoying it, enjoying kind of the quiet morning of the city.
And Bruce, uh, what do you say to your friends you haven't seen in a day?
Caden/Bruce: Hi guys, uh, would anyone like a cup of tea? This is their own home special blend that they call Sky Tea. It's really good.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris is skating backwards but not braking, so he's just like slowly rolling backwards, like past Bruce's table, and like looking at the tea.
Zach/Zahn: Uh, Zahn deconstructs his helmet and he's like, does it have a lot of caffeine in it?
Caden/Bruce: It has some caffeine, I wouldn't say it's highly caffeinated.
Zach/Zahn: That's a start. And you guys very quickly find out that Zahn is very much, while he's a caffeine addict, he doesn't like coffee, he likes tea.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, new lore. I'm gonna write that down in my notes.
Chris/Ollie: My soulmate, .
Bee/Polaris: Ollie's soulmate or your soulmate?
Chris/Ollie: Mine. IRL. .
Bee/Polaris: Okay. I'm gonna write that down in my notes as well.
Avery/GM: Chris likes tea. ?
Bee/Polaris: No, that Zahn is Chris's soulmate.
Avery/GM: Oh, okay.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah,
Avery/GM: more lore. .
Zach/Zahn: Nice.
Chris/Ollie: The meta dimensional lore.
Avery/GM: Ollie are you taking any tea?
Bee/Polaris: He's a dog. Caffeine's not good for dogs.
Avery/GM: When has that stopped Oli?
Chris/Ollie: True. Ollie is the tea, like, prepared in cups?
Caden/Bruce: Yes, I would say, like, he has, like, a pot of tea. And he's, like, getting out extra cups for people.
Chris/Ollie: Um, yeah, Ollie will take a cup and store it.
Bee/Polaris: That cup doesn't belong to you?
Avery/GM: It could be like a paper cup.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, okay. I thought it was like, like a high tea set, and like, Bruce was pouring it into like a, like a porcelain teacup, and Ollie just reaches out with a tentacle and puts it inside of himself.
Chris/Ollie: Oh, that is what would happen, regardless of what kind of cups they are.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Okay, so Ollie and Zahn have taken tea. Polaris is Slowly rolling around the table backwards.
Avery/GM: Not taking tea. Okay.
Bee/Polaris: No, he has his helmet on. He points to his helmet.
Caden/Bruce: Bruce will smile and be like, Did I miss anything exciting?
Bee/Polaris: No. I'm kidding. Yes.
Caden/Bruce: What happened?
Bee/Polaris: Police just says, We, um, rescued Captain Blitz and dropped him off at the Winston's. We also dropped Row and Psy off at the, uh, Institute because I guess Psy's not feeling well.
Caden/Bruce: Well, that's not good news either. I
Bee/Polaris: There's there's more to it, but go ahead. Sorry.
Caden/Bruce: It's, um, not every day that I get overly emotional.
Caden/Bruce: And I I'm going to try my hardest to not, because as a SCAF, it's something that we don't, it's something that we've never done, we never settle, we always wander, we never stay in one location, or even with one group for a very long time, and I have never spent as much time with a group as I have with all of you, and it's going to be so hard to leave you guys, But I was offered a job here.
Caden/Bruce: And, as you know, after talking with Peter, Eleanor, and Silver, and the rest of the people that work with Red River Farms, I think it would be nice to stay here for a bit. Just to put down roots. I don't know how long I'll stay here. But what I do know is it's time for me to move on from adventuring for a bit, and I'm so sorry that means I'll be leaving you.
Caden/Bruce: Just know that no matter what happens, you'll always have a special place in my heart, and my chef hat. And, I suppose I should head back. Back to the ship and get the rest of my things. Plus, I really need to tell Marty that I'm leaving.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris nods. I, I understand. Let's, um, let's head back to the ship.
Avery/GM: So y'all finish up your tea. Anyone want to say anything else in this little setting while you're, you're with Bruce and in this nice, Store slash restaurant.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris will get a garlic bread to go.
Zach/Zahn: Zahn will get two garlic breads. And as he holds up the two fingers to be like, Two garlic breads please. You see the, uh, the liquid container on his arm that's helping accelerate his broken arm healing.
Avery/GM: Yeah.
Chris/Ollie: Oh, that's exactly what I was imagining. Perfect. Ollie will also get, uh, two garlic breads.
Bee/Polaris: What the hell? Okay, I guess I'll get two garlic breads too. I can't be the only one that has one garlic bread.
Chris/Ollie: Or does Polaris get three garlic breads?
Bee/Polaris: No, Polaris just gets two. Well, he gets what? He has another garlic bread. Polaris is just holding up his like hot garlic, his hot cheesy garlic bread up to his visor and is just steaming it up.
Caden/Bruce: I think that's everything. I have my extra chef jackets, my hats, my bag of stuff, my blender. Oh, and by the way, Hermes helped me pull the communication frequency code for the blender. So Hermes has it now.
So if there's an emergency, just call me up and I will be there as soon as possible. I also left a list of some of the crew's favorite recipes, uh, kind of in this little mini book. And, uh, Bruce will hand a binder over to Polaris. And, um, it's very simple, it has all the ingredients listed, and all the instructions, and, uh, just make sure Zahn doesn't eat all the Assemble's singles.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris looks down at the cookbook, then back up at Bruce. I don't really know how to cook still, but I'll I'll do my best.
Caden/Bruce: Marty. I'll miss you. I hope that you'll help keep the crew safe, and please don't work yourself too hard. Thank you for always being there as a friend. That's what you all have become.
Caden/Bruce: Zahn, you went through so much. And I can't imagine how hard that all was, but I really hope that you'll have some closure for your past, and that your future is bright, that your future is full of opportunities. Ollie, Bruce will kneel by Ollie, placing his hand on his head. You're a good boy. Take care of them, okay?
Caden/Bruce: Bruce will stand and lift up his shoulders and, uh, make himself seem tall and happy, flicking his tail nervously, and just be like, I am so honored to call you all, not only my friends, but my family. So, please keep in touch and visit me from time to time, because as much as I don't want to adventure, it really hurts me to be leaving you all.
Caden/Bruce: And Bruce will open up his arms and invite everyone in for a hug.
Zach/Zahn: So as, uh, Bruce comes over to Zahn and, you know, says his touching goodbye word. Zahn is just kinda not sure what all to say or add. But he gives Bruce a solid nod, holding back tears. He, uh, embraces Zahn. It's Bruce and the big ol’ group hug and, like, quietly mutters, Thanks man. Be sure to take care of yourself, too. Gonna miss your, uh, fly pancakes, flies and all, any steps back.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris will hug Bruce tightly and just, like, bonk his helmet on Bruce's chest. I'll miss you. We'll come back and visit, I promise.
Chris/Ollie: Tail wagging happily in response to head pats, Ollie stands up on his hind legs and extends his paws out to join in the hug in a decidedly undog like fashion.
He says, Thank you, Bruce. Your data pad retains communications permission with the ship. Please do not hesitate to contact us for aid, and I will assist you as soon as possible, even if I must do so remotely.
Avery/GM: Marty, Ollie Polaris, Zahn, and even Holographic Hermes, uh, gets in on this hug, and we all stand there for a bit and embrace, and Bruce picks up his bags, gives one last look at the TSKAM and his friends, and heads off to his next adventure.
Avery/GM: So it has been a few days. Did y'all, did y'all have anything else you wanted to do while you were on Olympia or did you want to leave Olympia?
Bee/Polaris: I'm trying to think if there's anything else of note that we would need to buy. Oh, I need more grenades. Obviously. Sorry. Yeah. I just need to get grenades. I just don't remember how much they cost and where they are.
Avery/GM: Cost is 25 credits.
Bee/Polaris: 25 credits. Okay. Let me do some math really quick.
Zach/Zahn: Let me buy 400, 000 grenades.
Bee/Polaris: No, I'm trying to. I'm going to do math because I, I'm going to try and get my money to a rounded number.
Avery/GM: Oh yeah.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Is it like a two for one special again? Or cause like, I remember the last time we left this place, there was a two for one special.
Chris/Ollie: Bogo grenades.
Avery/GM: Yeah. It was a two for one special. Um, at that one shop. But no, this shop is full price.
Bee/Polaris: Damn it. Okay. I want to spend. Okay. So I did the math, but it doesn't shake out to like, uh, I guess Polaris will just.
Avery/GM: What do you need?
Bee/Polaris: Okay. I have six hun- I'm trying to get rid of 673 credits and I divided that by 25 and I got 26.92 grenades.
Avery/GM: Okay. We will round it up to 27 grenades for 673 credits. I'm not gonna
Bee/Polaris: Thank you, .
Avery/GM: I'm, I'm, I'm not gonna rip you off with, with two credits
Bee/Polaris: or you can give me one grenade. You can give me 26 grenades and then one without the pin. . Yeah,
Zach/Zahn: Yeah. Let's put a pin in that.
Avery/GM: I'm giving you 0.92 grenades.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, can I get a mini grenade?
Avery/GM: Oh, like a little.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah. 26 grenades and a mini one.
Zach/Zahn: A James Bond pen grenade.
Bee/Polaris: I've never seen a James Bond movie.
Avery/GM: You have 26 grenades that do 2d6 damage and you have one mini grenade that does 1d6 damage.
Bee/Polaris: Okay.
Avery/GM: What will you use it for? I don't know. We'll find a way. So Star wipe, it's been a few days. Y'all have returned to the Ursa Major.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, did we?
Avery/GM: I think is if that's, I mean, if that's okay.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, that's fine. I assume the Cassiopeia is like parked next to it or something. I don't know how we situate that.
Avery/GM: Oh yeah, so you get on the TSKAM, you go back to the Cass, and the Cass goes back to the Ursa.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're good, you're good. I got, I get what you
mean.
Avery/GM: It's the Matryoshka doll.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Avery/GM: Of ships.
Bee/Polaris: Except we can't park the, is there a bigger ship that we can park the URSA and the Cass in?
Avery/GM: A large space station, yes.
Bee/Polaris: How much does that cost?
Avery/GM: 40 million credits.
Bee/Polaris: Damn it. Okay, we need to make more money, guys.
Avery/GM: And you're heading back towards the Ursa major. Hermes is wired up to the Cassiopeia in that little makeshift interface you've built for him. Marty is, has sort of just been kind of locking herself in her room, kind of studying these datapads more and more, and really hasn't been communicative with anyone. And then, so yeah, so as you're piloting, are you piloting the ship or you just have it on autopilot?
Bee/Polaris: The Cass? Uh, we'll let Hermes take this one because there's nothing to hit.
Avery/GM: But you're, but you're up on the bridge still and, and It's just you and Hermes and whoever else wants to be there, obviously.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Avery/GM: So you're on the bridge and Hermes is projecting his little, uh, alien body. And this little projection kind of looks over at you and cocks its head. And Hermes is just like, Polaris, your body temperature and brainwaves seem to indicate that you are concerned about something.
Bee/Polaris: How, how is that something that you can tell? How are you interfaced to my life? To my, how are you interfaced to that?
Avery/GM: Oh, the Cassiopeia has a number of systems on board. that can actually detect the health and well being of its crew in order to apparently prevent fatigue and make sure that everyone is operating well within optimum parameters.
Bee/Polaris: Scary. Anyway, yeah, I am thinking about something.
Avery/GM: I can turn off those sensors if you would like, if it is too invasive.
Bee/Polaris: Nah, lets... Yeah. Yeah.
Avery/GM: Shutting them down.
Bee/Polaris: Can you just like target one person? Can I opt out?
Avery/GM: I have opted everyone out, because actually, come to think of it, that does seem pretty invasive.
Bee/Polaris: Okay, cool. Anyway, yes, I am thinking about something.
Avery/GM: Oh, is there anything I can assist you with?
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, how do you, um So you know how when we were When you were, you know, kidnapped and stuff and Rhea was there and Rhea was trying to kill us and stuff?
Avery/GM: Oh, yes! When, when Mother kidnapped me. Yes, that was, that was an adventure.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, I wouldn't call it that, but it was certainly something. Yeah, how do we kill her?
Avery/GM: How do you kill a Prodian?
Bee/Polaris: Yes.
Avery/GM: Hmm.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, because I feel like that's a bridge we're gonna have to cross and I'd rather prepared for that, you know, especially since I almost died in our first encounter.
Avery/GM: Yes, that actually is probably a very good question for you to explore. Well, the problem is that a Prodian's body regenerates very quickly. Almost like they're injured and they can heal themselves almost instantaneously. We were a very hard species to kill. Of course, that was the goal. I mean, if you're going to be the, the shepherds of life in the universe, you, you better be be able to take a few hits.
That being said, destroying the brain is usually the best way. That's how they got me in here, you know?
Bee/Polaris: Hmm.
Avery/GM: Polaris, I'm gonna be honest. I don't know how they killed me.
Bee/Polaris: That's fair. Usually you don't. Usually the moment between being alive and being dead is not one that we can really comprehend.
Avery/GM: Yes. My last memories of being alive are essentially Mother standing over me with a large needle and just telling me that it would all be over soon.
Bee/Polaris: That's scary.
Avery/GM: It was. But, I'm still here! And the little hologram gives you two thumbs up.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris pats the hologram on the head.
Chris/Ollie: Ollie's gonna ask, is this regeneration physical or psychic in nature?
Avery/GM: Oh, that is a good question. I believe it was part of our biology. Just an inherent part of how we evolved.
Bee/Polaris: Oh.
Avery/GM: Even non psychic Prodians had the ability to regenerate.
Bee/Polaris: So Prodians, kind of like the um, creators of life and the universe and stuff?
Avery/GM: Yes, that is a good way of putting it.
Bee/Polaris: What made Prodians?
Avery/GM: I am Hmm. Hmm. Those memories are here with me, but I can't access them.
Bee/Polaris: Uh, is there a way that could be bypassed? I feel like that's a dangerous route to go on.
Avery/GM: You could certainly try to hack my memories, as it were. It could also be that my crystal is incomplete, causing some interference.
Bee/Polaris: Ollie, I do believe you had mentioned once that Hermes was not whole.
Chris/Ollie: Affirmative.
Bee/Polaris: Okay. How come there are only 12 Prodians. I'm assuming there are 12.
Avery/GM: Oh, the Eternal One is one of them, and he has a council of 12 who are considered the rulers of Prodian society. There actually is probably a whole planet of Prodians on Tartarus.
Bee/Polaris: Oh. Ooh.
Avery/GM: But most of them are probably not as powerful as Rhea, or the 12, or the Eternal One for that matter.
Bee/Polaris: Hmm.
Avery/GM: But the 12 and the Eternal One, they were just, like, the Prodians here are the Prodians that are assigned to this sector of the universe.
Bee/Polaris: What?
Avery/GM: Yes, there are Prodians all over the universe, saving life and, and guiding it and watching it.
Bee/Polaris: So in theory, we could find other Prodians to kind of get the ones that are in charge of our universe. Is there a, um, like upper management?
Chris/Ollie: Yes. Are, are Rhea's actions sanctioned by the Prodian government?
Avery/GM: Well, that's kind of the issue. The Prodians are all pretty much given free reign to do what they want, as long as they're in their sector.
Bee/Polaris: Now, this does bring up another issue. If we are, and let me just say, this feels like it's going to be a long shot, if we are able to actually, as regular mortals, kill a Prodian, would other Prodians not be cool with that and, you know, trying to eliminate us before that knowledge gets out? Because, I mean, if you make a lot more mortals than there are Prodian and you know, handful Immortals, figure out how to kill a Prodian and share that knowledge. Seems like a not great time for the Prodian. You know, the people that are running the universe or whatever.
Avery/GM: Oh, there is no Intersector communication. The distances are far too great. By the time any message got to another group of Prodians, millions of years would've passed. So if you kill Rhea, no one will know, but us .
Bee/Polaris: Okay. Well here's the issue Hermes, is we're probably gonna have to kill all of them. Not, not all of the Prodians, but like the Council of Twelve, the Eternal One, because I don't imagine the Eternal One will be happy about us killing Rhea.
Avery/GM: No, certainly not.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah. So we're going to have to kill Rhea, then do that like 11 more times.
Avery/GM: Well, I will say Rhea is the most powerful out of the other 12. So if you kill her, the other ones should be no problem.
Bee/Polaris: Okay. Now here's another question. Can we work our way up? Start with the weakest Prodian, get some experience, till we get to Rhea.
Avery/GM: Some trial runs.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Avery/GM: You certainly could try. The problem is, most of them don't actually leave Tartarus. Rhea's actually the only one that usually leaves.
Bee/Polaris: How quickly do Prodians heal?
Avery/GM: I mean, within minutes. They heal very quickly. Actually, Polaris, it's quite similar to the way you recover.
Bee/Polaris: Yep, that was my ...yes.. But I'm not a Prodian, as far as I'm aware. I'm just an experiment.
Avery/GM: No, you're far too tall.
Zach/Zahn: Far too tall?
Avery/GM: I'm just kidding.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, are Prodians really short?
Avery/GM: No, they're all different heights. No, you are certainly humanish.
Bee/Polaris: Yes, yea. Ish.
Avery/GM: You are definitely not my long lost sibling.
Bee/Polaris: Well we know that. On account of you being a small green alien and me being not that.
Avery/GM: Well yes that too, and they certainly aren't gods. They just. Don't die of old age.
Bee/Polaris: Oh.
Avery/GM: And they create life. And they're technically responsible for Okay, I guess they could kind of be considered deities. But they can be killed.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Avery/GM: Exhibit A. End gestures.
Bee/Polaris: Well, you weren't necessarily killed. You were just crystallized.
Zach/Zahn: Piping in and add:. Well, I mean, sounds like bullets to the head still work just as well as any other mortal as well. Or spikes, as he pulls out his spike thrower.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, um, here's the Because Rhea is Probably able to stop bullets before they hit her face, you know, with her psionic powers. So doing the bullet thing is going to be a little hard.
Chris/Ollie: How susceptible to torching are Prodians?
Avery/GM: That is the weird thing up until encountering Marty and Ro, I had never heard of this phenomenon.
Bee/Polaris: It's a mortal thing.
Avery/GM: I don't believe I've ever seen a Prodian torch.
Bee/Polaris: I'm having thoughts, but none of these thoughts are going to be able to go anywhere because I don't really have all that much information on what was done
Chris/Ollie: pretty much.
Bee/Polaris: To create me.
Avery/GM: Um, yeah, cause, I've been thinking like, okay, well, spam, spam her with bullets until she torches or can't heal anymore, but that doesn't seem to be, right, it seems to be able to sustain a shield indefinitely.
Bee/Polaris: Well, here is kind of my thought process. Again, I don't know who created me, but in theory, you could create some sort of, kind of like how we got the, air quotes, antidote to the Iaso program. Um, you can probably create. some sort of disease or gene of some sort that reverses, um, quick healing, if that makes sense. I'm trying to figure out where I'm going with this.
Avery/GM: Oh, yes, like some sort of like chronic wasting disease.
Bee/Polaris: Yes. Do Prodians get sick?
Avery/GM: I mean, technically,
Zach/Zahn: yes. I mean, the problem with coming up with a disease to infect the Prodians with is that it would have to be so strong in order to affect them, that if it ever got off planet, it could start A massively bad chain reaction, yeah.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, that's where I was kind of hesitant about creating some sort of wasting disease of some sort because I, I do, I do that. I heal fast. I'd rather not be wasted away.
Zach/Zahn: That'd be cool. So it sounds like the best bet would be, uh.
Bee/Polaris: What about acid? Have we considered acid?
Avery/GM: I mean, the effects of acid would be.
Zach/Zahn: I mean, why don't we just get some giant monsters from somewhere and like, airdrop them on them? Maybe even monsters that spit acid. That'd be cool.
Avery/GM: Just flood them with giant, like, dinosaurs.
Chris/Ollie: Let's try all of the above.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris, kind of at the, at the thought of dropping, did Zahn actually say drop monsters on them?
Zach/Zahn: Yes, Zahn did actually say drop monsters.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris, like, puts a light bulb emote on his visor and says, Eden.
Avery/GM: Polaris, if you don't recall, the life form known as Eden has perished.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no. Okay. Yeah, Eden is dead, but we know there have been records of. Of other organisms, just like eat it. We could find another one and plant it on Tartarus.
Zach/Zahn: I feel like that would be too slow.
Bee/Polaris: That's why we get a bunch of them.
Avery/GM: There is also the fact that, if I remember correctly, that plant was psychically linked.
Bee/Polaris: Oh yeah.
Zach/Zahn: Yeah watch the Prodian just turn it to their side by talking to it.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Zach/Zahn: Nicely.
Bee/Polaris: Mm-hmm . Yeah.
Zach/Zahn: Yeah.
Chris/Ollie: Yeah. And killing
Avery/GM: Giving it bows. Yeah.
Chris/Ollie: Killing all the Prodians would not be ideal.
Zach/Zahn: Well, if we want to stick with the monster idea, I'm sure, I'm sure Winston kept a record of all the planets that he hunted on, and I'm sure he had like a list of ones that he would eventually go to. What if they all had big game on there that would be giant monsters?
Bee/Polaris: But if it's something that Winston would have hunted, I feel like that's something a Prodian could easily take care of.
Zach/Zahn: Not if there's a bunch. One, maybe.
Bee/Polaris: So how do you plan on transporting all of those animals?
Zach/Zahn: We'll tackle one problem at a time.
Bee/Polaris: We don't even know if it would survive in atmosphere.
Chris/Ollie: After asking that, Ollie will turn to Zahn and be like, what is the status on the repairs of the space factory?
Zach/Zahn: Things are nearly wrapped up. The factory I completed before leaving, and it should be actually just about done with, uh, it producing the custodians bodies.
Chris/Ollie: Because dropping bio organic monsters on Rhea might not be smart, considering her psychic ability, but mechanical ones. And we just turn it into, uh, Horizon Zero Dawn. Just drop robo dinosaurs on her.
Bee/Polaris: As soon as you said that I was like, Oh, you're thinking about Hephaestus and the Forge, huh?
Avery/GM: Yeah. You just need a bunch of thunder Jaws.
Bee/Polaris: Oh, brother.
Zach/Zahn: Oh, God. Ollie's able to put himself in all of them.
Chris/Ollie: I mean, yeah, I can split myself. Oh, wait, I'm level nine now. I think I can split myself even more.
Bee/Polaris: Well, you were able to take hold of a whole planet, so.
Chris/Ollie: It was a 90, 000 last time I checked, so.
Avery/GM: Fuck.
Zach/Zahn: Oh, brother.
Bee/Polaris: So, I mean, technically we could make an army of robots. I guess, but that would take so much time.
Zach/Zahn: That would take a lot of time.
Avery/GM: And a lot of materials, but you could do it.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, ultimate Ollie.
Ollie becomes
Avery/GM: the eternal one.
Bee/Polaris: Oh no. I mean technically we could also become robo boys.
Avery/GM: You could, this is true.
Bee/Polaris: Polaris knows of this.
Chris/Ollie: I mean yeah, the um, uh, Prodians have a way to gemify, so we could all be gemified.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah, well uh, Polaris was also offered it as a child, so.
Chris/Ollie: Maybe Polaris was like, maybe I wanna grow up a little bit first.
Zach/Zahn: I'll say it right now, Zahn does not want to live forever.
Bee/Polaris: You know? Polaris is neither here nor there, he'll do whatever it takes to protect his friends.
Avery/GM: Hermes is just like, I will certainly keep trying to access the specific memories of how I died, if you would like, as that might give us more wiggle room.
Bee/Polaris: Sure, I don't feel like, I feel like that's very unsafe for you.
Avery/GM: It's just the death of my physical body.
Bee/Polaris: No, I mean Because Polaris, like, looks at Zahn and it, like, is trying to, he just types two Hermes, uh, well, he sends the clip of, uh, Zahn's mom shorting out to Hermes, but doesn't say anything out loud.
Avery/GM: Oh, yes, that certainly could be traumatic.
Bee/Polaris: Yes.
Avery/GM: If you are concerned about my well being, Polaris, I will not do that.
Bee/Polaris: I'm always concerned about your well being, so yes, please don't do that.
Chris/Ollie: That's why Ollie hasn't offered. Doesn't want to go tinkering in his buddy's brain.
Bee/Polaris: Yeah.
Avery/GM: And as you're kind of wrapping up this conversation, You feel the ship drop out of Warp as you arrive at the Ursa major.
